I have. In fact my former HR manager when i worked in the UK has just won an award for supporting proactively and with initiatives around mental health and illness. More Mental health than Addiction etc although awareness and prevention is part of it. This is across the business, offices, factory, field.
That is terribly short sighted on behalf of the government & just storing up greater problems for society. I've suffered most of my life to some extent. When financial & personal circumstances are better things are more manageable. Stress of all types is the worst & I can see the pressure that young people are under in high profile sport, with everything been spewed out on Twitter compounding such problems. The most obvious thing people do is self medicate, be it alcohol, illegal drugs, or gambling, as you well know Titus. The thing is people are then labelled "an alcoholic", "a drug addict" or "a gambler".
I've suffered too and agree. I appreciate there is only a finite amount of money available but we just don't have the volume of therapists to meet demand. It is a disgrace.
