    That's not good. Bad enough not being able to smell anything but for it all to smell so disgusting? Have you been told how much longer you'll have to put up with it?

    I miss pottering down the Rockingham Arms with whichever rescue old terrier. When they re-opened last summer, Ben had gone through lockdown & I had Alfie in tow. Same thing may well happen again.

    No, it’s just another one of those COVID side effects. There is a Facebook group with thousands signed up with similar problem. It varies from person to person.

    The case numbers aren't falling off in Barnsley. The latest weekly figures show a rise of 28% on the previous week. Cases are up from 352 to 451. The longer the virus infection rate is still high in places, the greater the chance of further mutations, against which current vaccines will be far less effective.
