I agree with the first point. Completely. My issue is even the small gambles I think are massively out of our price range if we want to be any semblance of self sufficiency. As much as a lot of us want, signing a goal scorer won’t push us to the playoffs, it will just get us somewhere near the top ten. That’s the gulf in finances we are up against in this league.
I think we have been shopping in the wrong market place for strikers in the past few years and changes in managers who see them differently has led to a build up of excess.
Glad we didn't blow £500k to £1million on Kyle Joseph. With regards to the Dylan Dike loan deal we have nothing to lose. He looks big strong powerful and pacy and also links up well and can score.
