Although Brum are clearly one of our (many) bogey teams, we seem to have a history of startling results against them, scoring 4 or 5 goals in the process. Tuesday could be one of those occasions maybe? Nailed on 1-0 defeat then.
In my time supporting the team (just over 25 years) we’ve had some very good results against Birmingham and especially at St Andrews. Coventry away however, different story! Never seem to do much at Coventry. (Even when they were at Northampton). I’m hoping the fact that we will play them at St Andrews this season might change that anomaly. As for Tuesday, we need at least a point to stop the rot. Don’t fancy us on Friday if we go into it on a run of three defeats.
I’d seriously consider resting a few against bournemouth (likes of Brittain, Woodrow, styles etc that have been playing the bulk of every game).Bournemouth game is followed by a run of important games against teams lower in the table.
I was happy we didn't get nilled yesterday, it was always going to be hard this season. A very hard and unpredictable league.
