Of all the potential implications / knock on effects of last night's result, I think this one could well be my favourite. Won over by the raw passion of a manager in an interview, and the performance of his players that led to it. Like you, I suspect, I feel that we've stayed up in spite of the Board's actions through the season, rather than with their support, but the achievement is that much greater as a result. I'm glad it made you reconsider your decision, as you'd appeared so adamant in your replies that nothing would achieve this, which was sad to see from one so clearly emotionally invested in the club.
So glad you are back in the fold keV. I was going to post earlier and tell you about my flounce with BFC many years back. Story goes, I was in Barnsley Central Library whe a certain Mr Spinks collared me and said " you have not bought your season ticket yet, whyever not?". I sez, "I won't set foot back in Oakwell til that man's gone" What's he done wrong he asks. I sez hes had more money than any other manager and he buys quantity not quality (you may have heard that recently and he's a boring fecker anall. That man was Mel Machin. The board allowed him to do it, so I blamed them. I did return eventually though.
Glad you changed your mind. I renewed mine last month but could understand why you didn’t want to. Kept my old seat but not sure I will be sitting in it for a while
So someone else claimed your reclining seat then. Good decision yer rethought and made a good call. Red Army.
