Dean Hoyle has been banking great sums of transfer fees for many years going back as far as selling the likes of Rhodes, Peltier, Pilkington, Hunt, Norwood, Coady, Smithies etc.

Used to like Huddersfield but went off them after the last 2 visits. Seemed like the love of the great escape had long gone between the 2 clubs.

I believe that the EFL are also waiting to hit Leicester with sanctions should they ever drop back down

Didn’t we just confirm significant financial losses?

They went a bit big time Charlie after their little stint in the Prem, as we probably did back in the day.
They'll be back down to earth in the third tier soon.

Aye, hopefully soon. They were the ones that started it all when they went into administration (pre points deduction) and came out of it with a new ground and money to buy and pay players ultimately resulting in their PL win.

Yes, as I've said before, I'm surrounded by Leeds fans in Wakefield with Huddersfield being next most fans - and I can tell you the Huddersfield fans are way more arrogant then your average Leeds fan - most Leeds fans are pretty self-deprecating about their team, on the other hand you'd think HT are the biggest club in Yorkshire with they way they act.

Remember season 06-07, when we stayed up and Leeds went down ?. Old Master Bates tried to get their points deducted that season, but the Efl hit them with -15 for the season in Lg One. ;)

The filed accounts up to 2021 show that Dean Hoyle has bank rolled Huddersfield by over £34m over the last decade.

There have been some hefty profits from sales but the club’s expenses have more than eaten up transfer profits.

This year the parachute payments have ceased hence the further stress on their finances.

Do they show specifically Hoyle for that period?
Only asking as he never owned the club between 2019-2022. He sold it and then bought it back.
Edit: just had a quick Google and looks like that amount was him as he put loans in for that prior to selling.
