If they did...luton didnt listen....they had a minimum of 3 round the refs every decision against us.
I can only assume it's because Bobby didn't see a replay or any of the angles we had. The view from the commentary box must have been the one angle that made it look ok
I don't know for sure, but it sounded to me like they were commentating on the replays and seeing them just as we saw them.
I thought that at the time when they were talking about that one challenge but later on in the commentary they made it clear that they didn't have access to replays. I can't remember what the incident was but Matt actually said words to the effect of "you at home will have seen the incident on ifollow replays so will know a lot more than us who only get one look" or something like that. K
Fair enough, I guess they don't. Still looked shocking in real time though. Difficult job commentating, everything happens so quickly, but that one was a gimme
You was right though when they were commenting on that foul I thought they were watching replays from how they were talking so god knows. It was a bit of an easy one to spot. Bobby just have had that one angle that made it hard. I'm yet to work out what possible angle that was though
Probably the one where you have your head in your hands, crying uncontrollably. I was in that position a lot yesterday.
At home watching it on TV? You can watch it your phone so there's really no reason why anyone can't see a replay wherever they are.
Yeah I've never understood why Matt couldn't be set up with an ifollow feed on an iPad or summat. I appreciate it would be behind the live play, but at least allows him to clear stuff up.
Couldnt believe it this morning that tackle was on ref watch.Dermot was ready for bursting with laughter with the decision.
It makes me wince every time I see it, how close Killian's head came to the ground. Could have easily been broken neck, career over, paralysed for life. Easiest red of all time.
That's the trouble at barnsley and with our own commentary team, they believe in the old English phrase "it's the taking part that counts"
I'm my day that would have been classed as a brilliant well timed hard tackle... Lol.... The more I see it the more it makes me reel back and shudder... A Dangerous reckless tackle... Yellow card should be over turned and red 3 match ban should be implemented... I was amazed he got up and played on...
I wonder if efl have seen that, a bit worse than mcgeehan last season. Or is it another blind eye like they are doing with Wednesday decision
Love Bobby Hassel to bits but please keep him off commentary . That was an Horrendous tackle whether you saw it in real time , without a replay or just catching a fleeting glance whilst washing up int kitchen .
The ref gave a Yellow Card so there’s nothing the EFL, The FA, UEFA, FIFA or the Dalai Lama can do about it.
