No one wants to see pitch incursions, safety breaches etc. There are plenty of ways to protest outside of that.
As has been pointed out. We could really do without starting next season with a huge fine or a points deduction.

    "Positive negativity is possible".
    Yes it is.
As supporters of the club, rather than the owners, this is crucial.
Whilst we all see the criticism on here it serves no purpose. It's a dark tunnel at the end of which there's no light.
There has to be some central point of focus to turn the criticism into something more constructive. Instead of just moaning about the present state of affairs just think how useful it might be if people on here offered support and ideas about how to change things.
One would hope that the Supporters Trust will provide that focal point. I'd be happy to offer my time up to work on how we can get or make better use of that central focus point.

    You're not too remote.

If you've joined the ST you might personally feel you're not further forward but the more members the ST has then the more power it has in any debate.
I agree with you that the ST has to be front and centre and a rallying point. To that end, for all the critics on here, take action now and join the ST.

You lot call yourself football fans, comparing league positions.

You're completely missing the point of football. How are the accounts looking at all the clubs?

    *****? Oh, I see.

Update; PMG had two more club’s playing today. Thun lost 3-1 away but on the behalf of our owners I am delighted to announce that Esbjerg fB stopped the rot with 0-0 draw at home!

After the abandonment of the game last Friday which condemned Nancy to relegation they have been ordered to play their game at home this Saturday behind closed doors pending the outcome of further investigations.

Below is a short piece on their season. It's in French but there's some familiar figures and you'll get the gist from the pictures!

To be expected! That funeral march and the first one they organised outside the ground were well attended..

Reports starting to emerge of an 8th club potentially joining the current fold - Lechia Gdansk, in Poland, currently 4th in the Polish Ekstraklasa (top) Division and based in the excellent Gdansk Arena (below). However, rumoured to recently have had some financial difficulties (eg late wage payments) and the current owner has said he wants to sell shares.

Then Conway attended their game last Saturday as reported below on one of the club's supporters forums (their words not mine :D)

    Losers want to buy Lechia

    25 april 2022
Pacific Media Group is involved in 7 football clubs. Supporters of each of them regret or will regret the commitment of this group. Recently, the face of this travelling circus - Paul Conway - accompanied by Adam Mandziara watched the match with Warta Poznań.

Another article from the same Gdansk site.

Potential owners of Lechia do not understand football
    26 april 2022
We contacted Troels Bager Thøgersen. He is the editor-in-chief of the Danish football newspaper Tipsbladet, a journalist who over the last year has seen the collapse of Esbjerg fB, owned by Pacific Media Group, i.e. people interested in buying shares in Lechia Gdańsk.

On April 23, he wrote an article urging club executives that if Paul Conway and his Pacific Media Group made contact to buy a club they were employees of, if they felt responsible for its welfare, they should cut off any contact with them.

    - Change the number and email if they contact you | Tipsbladet.dk

We asked Troels to comment on PMG and what Esbjerg owners are doing wrong. Recall that recently two clubs that belong to PMG, namely AS Nancy Lorraine and Barnsley FC, have been relegated. Esbjerg is also at risk of decline. The answer doesn't fill us with optimism:

I think when you look at PMG and the investors Paul Conway works with and how their decisions have affected Barnsley, Nancy and Esbjerg – and soon maybe the other clubs they own – you can see how hard it is to manage several football clubs at once.

Red Bull, City Football Group, Brentford-Midtjylland-Smartodds, to some extent the Pozzo family and their involvement in Watford-Udinese are successful projects. These people worked for him for years, surrounded themselves with the smartest people in the world of football. Only that even they made mistakes, also very big ones, and they are still learning. If you ask them, they will tell you that their work every day requires a lot of effort and they must be fully aware of what they are doing. The more clubs you have, the more such work there is.

    I think Pacific Media Group:

It didn't appreciate at all what it takes to succeed in the Danish league. Both in terms of the players they bring in and the staff that works with them off the pitch. In fact, the same problems befell Barnsley and Nancy, who were not good enough at Championship and Ligue 2 level.

By their decisions to recruit coaches and emphasize a particular style of play without realizing what that style requires for it to be successful, they show that they do not have enough knowledge of football or the specifics of the industry to own several clubs at once.

They do not understand the countries in which they operate, which again shows their lack of knowledge and skills, which are a necessity. Any successful ownership group that owns several clubs will tell you that this is one of the most important aspects.

They are not interested in the football club as such. With its actions, PMG shows that they act as if they bought enterprises without history and soul, which can form as they want, and if they do not achieve success, they can simply give up. It seems that it is this feature of them that most annoys fans and local communities.

Will Pacific Media Group take over Franz Josef Wernze's stake in Lechia Gdańsk? We don't know that yet. Piotr Koźmiński in his article suggests that the sale of UGS shares is almost a foregone conclusion. Adam Mandziara admitted in his statement that talks with various investors are ongoing. We only hope that all interested parties will be thoroughly screened and the club will go into responsible hands.

Hopefully they'll get the message that their "investment gravy train" has come to a halt if this club says no, and they turn their attention away from European football.

Things also starting to emerge about the Belgian authorities taking an interest and asking for all the documentation relevant to investigating a conflict of interest between PMG/NCC (owners of Ostend, Nancy as we know) and 777 (owners of Standard Liege, Genoa and soon to be Red Star Paris it seems). Of course, we got the 'great' Obbi from Standard

Maybe time for me to give up my job and do a Panorama on these shady characters :D

For anyone who's interested AS Nancy had their meeting with the French Football Regulator yesterday - they were represented by Chien Lee, their remaining French shareholder, Gauthier Ganaye and (a touch bizarrely) Ostend's Finance Director.

They were allowed to remain in operation and take their place in the third tier of French Football for next season and have had some of their restrictions lifted - eg they can now transfer players in for fees but only to limited defined values.

To get to this situation it is reported that the owners (Lee, Conway, Kalt, Sud) have had to put in 6m euros, 2m in working capital and 4m in increased equity.

Not the best news for AS Nancy's fans as it is probably now going to be even harder to get the merry band out of their club.
