If we dont have any lows (hard as it is!!!) we don't appreciate the highs.

Hardest thing for me. Was to burden the family with my mental issues. And my wife is/was ( retired) an SRN.

I went to doctors, occupational health. Opening up about my mental issues.

My wife is now (and probably was, but not knowing the full extent.) Fully aware. I sat on the edge of the bed unable to move one day, Tearful. Having to go to work. ( being the major issue and fighting every day to get out of bed) She gave me the kick I needed. I had a few months off. I still get down, and lockdown is a major issue.

I can’t concentrate. so am manic at doing work at home.( to the wife’s delight as I was a couch potato :) ). Mental health is becoming an accepted issue and much less of a stigma.

My point being. Open up on your issues. Even that can reap rewards so to speak.

I’ve done mental awareness courses through the union. I believe it should.(if not already) be taught in schools. No one should suffer in silence.

You've been a top notch poster over the years. This is the perfect place for getting things off your chest. There's a great many posters who have experienced similar issues and are more than willing to offer help. You are definitely amongst friends if you need their help.
    Good luck, old mate.

Sounds like you’ve experienced it before, just remember it will pass and the sun will shine again. Take care of yourself and get on the BBS if you are feeling alone.

You’re not alone, mate. It’s best to talk about it, not bottle it up. :)

    Almost the win.

But to come back from a goal down and then almost win it.

    I'll take that.

Think we will get a win on Monday and then another big home game next weekend.

    Thanks once again guys.

Had some good chats with my wife today.

    Definitely helped.
