I look into things obsessively. I know you like cricket. In a time when Bulter was the test wicket keeper and everyone I ever read or listened to said he was the best we had I was thinking, No Bairstow's better. Now it's change but I was or felt like a needle in a haystack at the time. BTW. the programs brilliant now
I understand the point you're making without the cricket analogy. I just don't agree with it that's all. And neither does anyone else on here, judging by the posts so far.
At the risk of being a reight proper fan, you're more than welcome to **** off and watch either of em if this stuff turns you on. Who the **** has let this troll back on?
100% agree Fair play to the Everton owner for coming out, especially on Transfer deadline day, that must have taken some real courage and it's nice to see football moving in the right direction. Also I have to applaud you as well WF9 Tyke, for offering support to the Everton owner for 2 months, a credit to yourself. It must have been difficult for you, taking calls from him in the middle of the night, for 2 months, presumably seeking advice on how to inform his children that they have two Daddies now , etc.
Agree. For me they didn't come across as very "professional". They probably could have organised themselves a little better. There seems to be a lot of confusion on deadline day , but Wilder and Knill looked rather disjointed. I hope we never expose ourselves to such scrutiny in the future because for me it wasn't a very good PR excercise for Sheffield United.! Likewise Sky Sports and the " Jim White Deadline Day Show." Hyped up weeks before , but totally underwhelming on the night. As the famous Bard once said " Much Ado about nothing."!
This is like someone doing time then committing another crime the split second they walk out of jail. Throw away the keys.
You have a very valid point here Hemsy. I was also commenting on the lack of information coming out of the club on deadline day. As I said then - come back Ben Mansford all is forgiven. As one thing Ben did right - was generate interest in the club through the media. That went when he left. Just to point out - it's no good trying to debate with the usual suspects on here -they are just a pack of school yard bullies - they see the name 'Hemsy' and no matter what you say they will group together to try to belittle you, while feebly trying to make themselves feel better about their obviously humdrum life. Others can see what's happening but stay silent in fear of the pack. Admin take note.
Okay, give us an example of a transfer deadline day under Mansford where the club detailed every bit of business in progress for the fans' benefit. I'm telling you now, it never happened. Not at our club or anywhere else. Your naivety is, frankly, staggering. You two should get a room. Seriously - the most disloyal, needlessly critical Barnsley supporters in the club's history. One of you is bad enough, two makes me wonder what we've done wrong in a previous life.
