Oh aye, like his free kick on 82 minutes from a great position, kicked it about a foot off the floor and three yards forward, straight to them. Great player!

If there's a player in there, it's well hidden at the moment. £1.25M as well.

I was talking about open play, where kane struggled to find a player in red constantly making the wrong decisions. One player we paid 1.25 million for the other we picked up for free you would have thought it was the other way round tonight.

I agree there is a player there and I don't want to be too harsh after tonight but jesus some of his decision making and passing was poor he was 30 seconds behind the play before he came off.

Reminds me of Earl the winger - "he takes corners and throw-ins".

Has been poor so far, one assist. Struggling at this level. Liverpool must have been laughing all the way to the bank. Looks about fourty and plays like it. Needed to go out on loan. Really hope I have to eat my words but not holding my breath.

I never said he was rubbish, but for a professional footballer to not be able to kick a dead ball under no pressure is pretty rubbish. I actually thought Kane did well tonight, as did everyone in a red shirt.

For a player under no pressure to struggle to find a red shirt is rubbish but you thought kane did well ...

I thought he was alright. Not great or anything but OK. Can't say I'm not a little disappointed so far considering how much we paid for him, he seems a long way short of that price tag, but I don't think he's awful.

Come on, Helen... He was single-handedly responsible for us getting dumped out of the FA Cup by a second rate team like Chelsea. Get with the programme.;):D

Really? Even first half he struggled to find a red shirt and second half he was garbage in my view.

    Opinions eh?

I hope he’s going to come good but I’ve seen no evidence so far he has anything. I know some wrote Mowatt off but he’d shown glimpses of ability - I honestly haven’t seen that in Kane.

The lad is also the oldest 22 year old since Kanu signed for Arsenal!

I thought he was fine tonight, but I'd start Palmer ahead of him every time. Then again, I'm happy to let Big Val take this one - if he thinks he's better than both Palmer and James in his system then so be it!

I thought everyone in a red shirt did well, even Palmer. I was just a little frustrated with his free kick, when we were in a good position (probably like every Reds fan)

Oh come off it “the million man”. Almost certainly we won’t have paid that much for him (yet, at least). And again to use that as a stick to beat him with is poor imo. He’s a young lad who hasn’t had many games for us yet. But of course let’s write off “the million man”
