Maybe because racists and fascists get a vote.

You had a mega-epi on Tory-supporting Barnsley fans one late evening. They were definitely cnuts that night.

Am curious to know what was mixed in that twilight's heady brew.

It was me he had an epi at - and I can confirm I’ve never been tempted to vote Tory.

But when did they and their views become the leading one? It wasn't always so, I have spent my adult life fighting racism, fascism and other extremist views, both professionally and privately. They were the minority for most of that time and the individuals unelectable.

Interesting. Politicians never answer the question put to them. It is up to Journalists to ask the same question until they get a satisfactory answer. However, politicians will reiterate the point they want to make until the journalist gives up.

In terms of parliament, it would be nice for the speaker to insist that a question is properly answered before moving on. Again, the minister will repeat the point he or she wants to make or starts rubbishing the other side until everyone gets fed up.

Are enough tests being done? No!
When will there be an adequate number of tests being done? Don't know.
Are too many people dying? Yes
Do you know how many people are dying? No.
Are there adequate supplies of PPE? Probably not, especially in the care sector
What does a billion pieces of PPE mean? Absolutely nothing if 2 billion items are needed.

That said the scale of the problems is unprecedented. I only wish I had confidence in those having to deal with them. In this situation, I do not think that Corbyn government would have done any better.

I will continue to social isolate and keep everything crossed.

btw at this point I am not really bothered which division we play in next season. I just want to go to football again soon. I can't see viewing on TV in an empty stadium catching on.

Exactly. Most career politicians will simply follow the party line. Voting records tell you very little about the individual.

Well it does because they have free will. They choose to vote that way because that is where their moral compass lies. They'd prefer to see millions suffer so that they can get a nice pay rise.

They don’t have free will if they want any support in getting re-elected.

Obviously she chose her party in the first place, so I’m not trying to pretend she’s against all the issues she’s voted for, but not many politicians will go against their party.
