I can only reiterate what others have said on the thread, I've not missed the football one bit. After decades of following Barnsley up and down the country, throughout all the divisions, it's somewhat sad that I feel this way. Obviously, I miss the company & banter of the likes of barnsley66, jedi one, Jay and his lovely family, nezbfc and his lovely family, as well as other friends who don't post on here. Unfortunately, the attitude and approach of the board since promotion has sapped all my love & enthusiasm. The persistent individual errors throughout the campaign by the players in nearly every game (some have been punished, some we've got away with) hasn't really helped, either. I accept others will have a polar opposite opinion to mine and that's fair enough.
It really, no Disappointed that the euros aren’t taking place as I really enjoy them Barnsley, not really - I want this board out ASAP and hoping for a euromillions win so I can take over
I do wish you'd stop being so reasonable. There's a level of argumentivity to be maintained on here, you know.
As you know, I started going about the same time as you. It's no coincidence that, in amongst the great experiences, we've both seen terrible times at our club, on and off the field, but we've kept coming back and buying tickets regardless. But this current situation is different. I can't imagine going back in the current scenario, the spark has gone. It's been extinguished by the way the club is currently run. It's so very sad.
