I feel sure that the two coaches will have cost a few bob in compensation & re-location/ hotel costs etc plus their wages will be an upgrade on their current salaries, I just feel that a short contract to a known fire fighter with a survival bonus being the incentive would have been a far cheaper & less riskier approach , because I do not know the length of contracts these lads have signed but it will almost certainly be longer than the rest of this season but with the chance of failure being a strong possibility then it will inevitably be a costly sacking rinse & repeat exercise once again , I might add that I hope I am wrong & they save us from the drop , we will see .
It's an interesting comment actually, the comms haven't mentioned a contract length at all. I think I would have preferred a short term appointment too, but I just didn't think it was remotely likely. Our owners have a zealotry about their coaches and recruitment process.
