Fantastic stage today, won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it but watching that up the Stelvio was a joy. Don't normally praise Aussies but Rohan Dennis what a performance. Massive stage on Saturday.

Unfortunately they’ve took the big climbs out of Saturday’s stage as the French Government won’t let them over the border. Still a relatively tough stage but I’d be amazed if Kelderman loses the jersey now especially when he’s a better time trialist than Hindley & G-Hart.

Incredible stage today. Don’t know where Dennis pulled that from. Expected him to lead them for a couple of km & then almost grind to a halt like Kwiatowski does

That's a shame. I think Kelderman would have cracked again on the Agnello.

They are however going up to Sestriere 3 times on the route. Think the stage is now about 4000m of climbing rather than 5500m. Its not exactly going to be flat, so there should be opportunities to put pressure on.

Agree with you. I think Sestriere climb is about 5.7% average gradient & they do it 3 times. Should suit a rider like Kelderman.

Logic says there won’t be big time gaps but I guess it can’t be ruled out with how tough today’s been.

So much for my prediction .

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a transformation like Rohan Dennis mid-race. Gone from getting dropped in breakaways to one of the best 3 climbers in the race.

Agree, Dennis has been phenomenal the last 2 mountain stages. Wasn't that surprised to see Keldermann go backwards as he looked to be really struggling a couple of days back. Going to be an interesting TT tomorrow. Wonder if this could end up being the closest ever Grand Tour result.

I think Geoghegan Hart will win by about 30 seconds although nothing would surprise me this year.

Dennis has been the huge difference. I’d go as far as saying he’s won the race for Tao. Without him I think Kelderman would be at least a minute better off if not more & going into tomorrow as favourite you win
