It could be read like that yes, but when I read the quote it didn’t feel like it, hence my post. Having said that, I’ve just read the Official release and it did come across more like it. I think that’s the joys of the written word and how it can be interpreted.
It still surprises me that we can think, that our players or managers are not in contact with other sources at regular times. If they are not, their agents are. Struber came under the radar after our run in and discussions will have taken place and the agent will have a chat with his client. I like our coach but he is tied by our directive on finances (like lots of clubs) if that can be bettered and he has an offer of more money and more pleasing working conditions, why would he not be interested. So far he is still our coach, i would be suprised if hes still here at Christmas.....i hope he is though.
The way the board are running the club at the moment with constant player churn and if things progress with Struber as they did with his predecessors coaching staff churn as well. It will just end up with an unsettled unstable club and they are never successful look at Watford their constant changing of managers finally led to relegation. I sense that if signings aren't made soon things will come to a head and Struber will walk maybe if things go badly against Coventry as early as this Weekend.
Thing with Watford though is they sack managers. They even sacked Nigel Pearson when he got them OUT of the bottom 3...
I can understand if he's going for lifestyle matters despite the guns and donald trump but its hardly paradise is it (new york). Its not like it as metrodome or a number 7 bus to kendray.
Makes no difference if they are sacked or walk because of a lack of support from the board they're still gone.
Please no-one mention the dryers ffs! there will be a stampede for their sale for sure with all this covid scaremongering at the minute!
