Spot on LiverpoolRed. It is a mess. Not just at schools.

Racing is supposed to resume on Monday. The BHA say that they need the go ahead from the government. However, the BHA are their own authority and suspended racing themselves. Now they're in a position whereby three days before resumption there has been no official go ahead. Is it a case of government thinking you get on with it nowt to do with us and the BHA being too cautious wanting unnecessary approval?

Horse racing could have come back a while ago. Snooker is on ITV4 next week where you and your opponent and leaning over a table for hours, but yet Cricket isn't back until August at the earliest when it's also non contact.

I think it’s everyone for themselves time. Do whatever you think is best for yourself. I don’t mean ignore the guidelines, quite the opposite. It may be too early to relax, and if my suspicions are right, we’re in the ‘we can manage a few more deaths now’ phase and ‘herd immunity’ through the back door. If you relax too soon and lose your life, who’s going to look after your family then? The government? Wouldn’t like to think they were looking after my family.
This government has proved time and again that they cannot be trusted. Think about what they’re telling you to do and don’t make the mistake of thinking that they’re giving you something with the relaxation of the rules. We could be sleepwalking straight into the second wave.

I'm as cautious as the next person but you can't keep washing your hands every time you touch a door handle etc.

I know what you’re saying and I might be getting a little bit paranoid, but I wouldn’t put anything passed this shower. I have never had so little faith or confidence in a government. I don’t believe a single word they say and I can’t understand people who do.
