Green Day, homebrew, and Joe BIden speeches to remind us that not ALL of the world has gone to ****. Friday night's aren't what they used to be!

Nice Muse choice though. My personal favourite of their albums.

14 y/o cask-aged FFS. Boris needs to introduce a new 'Whisky thieving' bubble to add to childcare and 'support.' You'd think he'd be up on what's important and what's not.

That's a very intriguing race Fonzie. On the face of it it looks to lie between Brando and Dakota Gold. If they both ran to their absolute best then I think Brando would win. However, two runs ago Dakota Gold beat Brando at York by nearly five lengths. Brando gets a five pound pull in the weights today. Brando has since run considerably above his York form when second in the Champions Sprint at Ascot. The problem is that Brando hasn't run within ten pounds of that form on any of his six other runs this year. Dakota Gold on the other hand has run to career-best figures on three of his last five outings, including his last two. So on balance, I'd just prefer the consistency of Dakota Gold who is in tremendous form this Autumn. They are both available at 7/2, so it's take your pick. (Which probably means something will come and pip them both!)

    Well played.

Hope you had a decent punt on it.

Thanks, Fonzie. Had my normal, but an interesting watch. I've been on course to see Brando at York, Haydock and Newbury, but his consistency just worried me. Not for the first time he lost it at the start, whereas Dakota Gold went like a bullet into the stalls and just as quick out of them.

Now for Sceau Royal (3.00 Wincanton).

Yes, historically he's blown the start many times. I thought he'd have enough class to pick them up though.

Sceau Royal should win, but the price is too short for what I'd normally have a go on. Good luck.
