Marry me.? Or at least a 3some.? Mrs C is well fit & a brilliant vegan cook. She can do things with an aubergine which will make your eyes water...
I noticed that at the Wednesday match.. was worried it was something they had fished out the West Stand bog..
Interesting preview on their forum, like others can’t upload photos but an obvious error when describing Devante Cole the picture shows Obbi wan Kenobi
Apart from the Cole error it’s a fabulously thorough preview - they are a very impressive club. After Saturday you can’t help but wish them well.
Agreed they get knocked or ridiculed for the Vegan thing but being Green isn’t a bad thing in my eyes.
I like this beauty from their Supporters club preview. Must have been April 1st https://www.fgrsc.com/news/barnsley-home-15-april-2023/ "Sinking Feeling – There were 11 colliery pits in the Barnsley area, these are now all closed. The town used to be 200ft above sea level but due to subsidence in the hundreds of mines that are underneath the surface, surveyors recently found that the town was dropping by around 11ft a year and it’s estimated that by 2050 Barnsley will be a lake. Barnsley Council’s official position is that this may reduce the need for hose pipe bans, and they intend to build a water sports centre to bring much needed jobs to the town. Slogans such as ‘Barnsley – Barbados of the North‘ have been mooted."
Actually, there's some truth in that. When I was a kid you could see Darfield Church tower from our back doorstep, in my teenage years you couldn't. Either it or our house had sunk, so that it was no longer in the sight line.
Why not join the Green Party? I might get a discount for recommending a friend.... Seriously, why not?
Don’t get why anybody buys food in the ground when the oakwell sandwich shop is parked outside.I,ve never bought anything in the ground I feed myself before I go in.
Despite what I've put above, I may only purchase some food on Saturday for the novelty of getting some decent veg snap at the footy. I don't get why people get these sudden hunger pangs between 2.45 and 4pm. I usually have lunch before I leave the house, and then I'm not hungry until evening meal. The last thing I want is food at 2.45 or half time, especially when factoring in the queues and exorbitant prices, I just don't get it. If we're away and it's a long journey, I take a packed lunch - how quaint, I know.
Once voted Green as far as it goes, knew the candidate locally maybe even in the general but doubt it ( was disenfranchised by Corblimey). Anyway don’t want to politicise things, it gets done too much.
