I get that. But he still didn’t play a more compact game to counter it.

We were wide open still, leaving these inexperienced players exposed. The PNE game was the pinnacle of this failing. Simply put, we were too gung-ho.

Struber turned it around fairly quickly in defence. But as others have pointed out, probably too far the other way now.

He did , but I think Stendel needed some time to adjust as well. Plus the players had had more time to settle. We ll never know, but I do know he had a lot of ideas he wanted to discuss with the board but he got the sack instead.

I’m not sure people are siding completely with the owners. But as with all things in life, nobody is perfect.

Stendel didn’t adapt well to the Championship tactically. He also spent significant budget on the players he wanted.

Struber is moaning about quality but has been the only Head Coach allowed to bring in almost universally his own players. He then keeps picking them and says we don’t have enough quality, with bizarre formations and tactics.

Hecky had had enough. His move to 4-5-1 and some of the ‘protest’ selections he made didn’t do him any favours.

The board, in all three scenarios above, could have done more to support their Head Coach. No one person is solely to blame.

We are doing well, Wycombe will streuggle a lot though, no threat up front so you can push more players forward. I reckon us Hatters will be mid table - we have good squad which is new for us, two players for every position although we could do with another goal scorer if Collins is out as Hylton is not up to it anymore after injuries.
