I don’t think it will be a disaster. It’ll either work or not, but no disaster. Certainly better than the Malaysian race in the middle of nowhere. The COTA track is decent and worked well too in Austin. It’s their first year, so they need to settle in. But if they keep getting the crowds and sponsor interest, then it will succeed. People said the same about Abu Dhabi and Bahrain - but they’re still here. It’s certainly got more people interested - and whether traditionalists like it or not, more and more are watching live races across the world. As for greed - it starts and ends with the drivers, much like footballers.
The bbs isn't just a football bulletin board, it's a varied community made up of predominantly Barnsley fans to talk about anything and everything. It's what makes it so good and why it's survived in various formats since the last century, something that not many sites can claim.
Come on mate I enjoy the fact that there are varied subjects covered. I only take a passing interest in F1 but I enjoy reading the comments of people who watch the sport that's how we learn surely and if it's not your cup of tea don't read it.
Just out of interest, why are you such an angry ******? Quite laughably, here's a summary of your most recent contributions to the BBS. None of which are football related. Unbelievable.
And of the last three threads he actually started only one was about football. One was requesting a criminal defense solicitor (because football forums are famously the best place to acquire legal representation) and one was randomly about a dead actor with no context
Turned out to be a fairly decent race in the end, would maybe benefit from taking place in warmer temps but they want a night race Leclerc did well at the end and was unfortunate with the safety car.
Hamilton needs a better car. Verstappen has been great in interviews this week living up to the Netherlands stereotype of being laid back. All the cash ploughed in to this grand prix to make it a spectacle and he just didn't care
I am starting to warm to Max a bit now, mostly because he has the same view as me that Spa and Monza are what F1 should be about. Still hate Horner...
