    The Academy’s could well disappear in their current format, but clubs could still have Youth set- ups similar to pre-academy days. They used to play in the Northern Intermediate League. Also, most if not all EFL clubs would be in the same situation so the competition to sign youth players would be the same.

    FIFA shitting themselves already. They know that their stranglehold on football would be over should this happen.

    Kinda hope it does happen to be honest. Would be an opportunity to introduce a salary cap, for example. It'd be awesome to see FIFA crumble.
