    While that is a valid point about persecution I don't think that is really relevant regarding that individual persons right to equal pay is it?

    I agree that some golf courses used to be very old fashioned but I think you will find that most have changed for the better, and the one you mentioned should be made to change their rules......women are welcomed at all the ones I frequent

    if they are doing exactly the same job then yes. It’s really not very hard to understand this.

    Same for me. No help to Fired as I am a member of a golf club near Guildford and the women are fully equal to men in all respects except their loos are much better we had to use them recently when the gents were temporary closed and they were much nicer

    Ironically the course I went to had invited me to advise on disability access. I pointed out that they couldn’t be taken seriously if they had antiquated views on equality. Thursday was apparently “Ladies Day”. They had a Gents only bar.

    I’m sure that things have moved in in general, but this inequality still exists.
