First time I've seen him bowl and his action has me reminiscent of a young Jimmy

Some great batting by England. About Foakes. He's got a touch of grace about his batting and is pleasing on the eye. I reckon he could score some runs.

WI close day 3 on 288-4. So far it's been a real tough test for the bowlers from both sides. Not much in this pitch.

Aye, unless Root makes a very generous declaration. Not going to happen.

Another draw. 94.5 overs bowled in the match for Jack Leach is the most anyone for England has managed in a test since 1962.

If it's a similar pitch for the third test, and Stokes is fit enough to bowl still, then I'd bring Parkinson in for Woakes.

What’s with all the flat, slow pitched these days in West Indies? Always remember fast bouncy wickets in the days when they had the likes of Roberts, Holding, Garner, Ambrose and Walsh. Guess there must be a dearth of fast bowlers over there now, which is hard to believe.

They’ve certainly bored the life out of this series. So many were praising Brathwaite for his “achievement “ of occupying the crease for so long. Well, if that’s how he wants to play cricket then it’s not for me.
