I’m not trying to pigeonhole here but I bet the majority come from the Midlands and the West Midlands.
Anyone booing the taking a knee needs to grow up. Like **** me just look away or turn it off for a second, or better yet, just stay silent. Ridiculous.
I agree....(although past form suggest , like the poster who stated, albeit prior to the match , that Philips (apparently most pundits MOTM) was nowhere near good enough, I know **** all about footie). I only switched on for the second half and was presented, up to the goal with frustrating 'tippy tappy' sideways passing in our own half and in the middle of the pitch whilst showing little attacking intent, whilst Croatia, albeit defending with everyone back as though they would happily settle for a draw, seemed sharper with their passing and threatened in the final third and on accasions even seemed to press high up field -reminiscent of Barnsley. England on the other hand reminded me of the Barnsley of old before the German influencetook hold and Gengenpressing became the mantra. I did not see the first 20 minutes of the match though, but the pundits were still 'waxing lyrical' about England during that period at the start of the second half. Did I miss something special?
Totally agree. I hate the national anthems, don't think they have place in sport, I simply mute the telly whilst they're playing.
Not that it matters but if I was Croatian I would question why four minutes of injury time. Kane received treatment, Stones received treatment, Bellingham received treatment, there were several substitutions. Do the officials throw dice to determine the number of minutes?
