    Honestly not sure he has the composure or ability to play the #10 role. His control isn’t great, but he does have pace, so any position out wide he has a chance. Any role off the front one/two needs a good level of ability and I’m not sure he’s really shown that for us - yet

    I don’t really buy the ‘he’s a number 10’ line for Simoes. Barely any teams play with a number 10 now & at his age he should be flexible enough to play in different positions.

    Val sent him packing and he did nothing whilst on loan at Doncaster Rovers. Now it looks like Schopp will shortly send him packing too. I don't see any future for him at Oakwell.

    Good question and I think the honest answer is we don't know. I suspect - and this is based on nothing more than a hunch - is that his body doesn't seem to be coping with the demands of being a professional footballer. He played a little at the start of his loan spell in the second half of last season and then went missing which I assume was due to injury. I believe he was getting over an injury when he joined us but I get the feeling he'll turn out to be another Zeki Fryers.
