    Just this ^^
The whole thing reminds me of 2 of the managers I had in my Career - The worst was indecisive made vague plans and was a "yes" man his boss and offered no leadership.
The best was the exact opposite clearly communicated what was needed and wouldn't let you get away with vague plans or woolly status reports etc - a pain to work for to start with until you realised he was right to force you to plan properly and communicate the plans.

Boris reminds me of my worst boss in the way he bumbles out vague plans and hides the truth about reality when what we need is one like my best boss. The problem though is I don't know who the Tories have that is going to do a lot better. The current cabinet are mostly in place because they are "yes" men and with the possible exception of Sunak dont seem that competent. Boris and Cummings purged the party of many of the more pragmatic and sensible Tories last year. I am sure the days of Boris are numbered but I still think he will be kept in place until we get the No deal Brexit his backers desire at the end of the year. Then they will get rid and heap all the blame for the fallout from Covid and Brexit his way

This brand of Conservative party was elected to get Brexit done and is, in effect a bespoke item, fit for only one purpose. I think like others alude to, Boris will be allowed to bimble on until there has to be a reckoning.

    He’s Britain’s Trump .
There no two ways about it he is !
He’s not as extreme as the USA version by any means but he’s out of his depth which can be forgivable if he reached out to people to help him but instead he hands over to his trusty advisor who fills his world with incompetents and nodding dogs just to have total control .
You only have to read the very few comments on here of his supporters that no matter how crap he has handled the situation costing lives etc he’s still hero worshipped as Trump is in USA ,
I fear that with the right wing media he will lie his way out of a paper bag and get away with it .
