    Steady on, it’s one goal.

I’d love it to be the first of many, don’t get me wrong.

But one swallow and all that.

Considering the number of posters who think Aapo Halme can be converted into a striker, why not work on an actual striker, who has a bit of physical presence? He's a long way off being able to lead the line in the Championship, but if Ismael has seen something in him, why not give Victor a run of cameo appearances at first, and see where it takes us. At least until the window re-opens.

    But Chaplin, But Victor..

I do not own copyright to that slogan, I did indeed steal it from Fonzies 'But Corbyn, But Labour' trademark..:D

Great strike today. He still needs to work on his ability to hold the ball up though. He has the physical presence and if he can use that to shield the ball better, allowing us to retain possession, then he'll be a much better player.

I’ve no problem with him being given a go.

We have two weeks now to get the whole squad tactically up to speed with what Ismael wants and he can put hours in with Adeboyejo - his physicality could be an asset and the confidence he’s got from scoring today will do him the world of good.

But let’s just not jump the gun - no need to pressure him to be something he’s not.

Oh absolutely. One goal today doesn't change anything, he's simply not looked up to it in his previous showings. However, he's still young enough to learn to adapt his game, so hopefully, he'll at least plug a gap until we find a better option.

Glad to be proved wrong. When he's bagged another 9 this season I'll show my arse on the town hall steps, (whilst observing social distancing).

Nothing against the lad, hope he can consistently prove me wrong, as I've started to shave my ring piece just in case.

COYR's dirty fighting 3 points today, helped by two great saves from Walton, who was surely MOTM.

I think visits to the town hall steps are banned in tier 2.5+, which is what we’ll move into when the national tier 4 ends and we get put back into covid alert regional locations (tm) so you might have to wait until we go down to at most tier 2.3
