    I can remember my Dad being extremely excited during the 95/96 season saying we were going up and on Grand National Day 96 he backed the winner (Rough Quest) at big odds and Barnsley were beating Norwich. I went outside kicking the ball about with my sister in the backyard and came back in and he was gutted that we'd drawn 2-2. It's just flashes but were we 2-0 up?

    Yes SD we had a chance of getting in the playoffs 95/96, but those results against Ipswich and Norwich a couple of weeks later knocked us severely and we "fell off a cliff" after that and finished the season in 10th place.

    That period from 94/95 to 99/00 was my best time being a Red :)

    That period was brilliant, you could see the momentum building season after season under DW, culminating to the Promotion to the PL. However, for me the best time was from 78/79 to about 82/83 under Clarkey and big Norman.
