    There’s some scepticism of the ability of the US bomb to actually destroy the nuclear facility built into the mountain , there are some who think only a tactical nuclear missile could penetrate deep enough to destroy it or an attack by troops to get in and destroy it

    I can’t help but think if I was Iranian that I would want my country to have a nuclear weapon.

    North Korea’s got them & nobody’s attacked them. It’s a fantastic self defence mechanism.

    It’s also a bit rich to worry about Iran possibly using one when we’ve got crackpots like Trump & Netanyahu who can push the button.

    As a side issue this is yet another reason not to vote Labour again. Disgraceful complicity by Starmer and Lammy as it has been ever since Israel started murdering people in Gaza. Appalling. Makes me embarrassed to be associated with my government.

    Do you mean the one that was exactly on a fault line, was 10km underground which is deeper than humans can dig a usable hole and had a seismic wave pattern identical to an earthquake and nothing like the wave patterns produced by a nuclear test.
