We had two in two years remember and we’ll be having another one soon so that’s three one imo to the Tories.
If i can be so bold, do you mind sharing why you did vote leave? There are genuinely good reasons for some, I’m interested to hear yours
A better question would be “is a labour mp any different from a Tory mp? “ Answer being no, they’re both loathsome self interested parasites that live off peoples past in order to use their position to earn the real job they’re after next. #tics #getsomeactuallifeexperience #conmen #travellingsalesmen #getaproperjob
Why? Are you going out trick or treating? If it's leaving the EU you're looking forward to, then I'd keep your powder dry for a while. It won't be happening then.
If you thought we were better off before we joined the common market, then you must believe that the nationalisation of all our facilities eg. Water, Electricity, plus the Railways, Steelworks(what's left) and the Post Office to name but a few as they were all in the hands of the people before we joined in the early 1970s but that will never happen while ever the centre-right is in power, and John lad you will always be European whether we are in our out of Europe that's a fact, I don't agree with you on leaving the E.U. as I think it will devastate this country leaving myself and my family much poorer in every respect, but everyone as a right to his views, I have asked many a Brexiteer like your self what you personally would gain from leaving and stress personally so I'm asking you, no one yet as come up with a worthwhile answer hope you can .
You're making the issue one of personal gain, I voted to leave and as far as I can tell I have nothing personally to gain. I prefer to see decision making and the scrutiny of it being brought back as close to the people as is possible, I get the Scot Nats wish for self government, or any other legitimate political group for that matter...the simple fact is that they can decide the things that matter most to their countrymen themselves, and bad policies can be ditched by another party at the next election. The EU is an organisation which seems intent on being less of a group of nations pulled together by common interest and working together, but more and more a State of Governance exerting control over nations to an increasingly fine degree. Ireland for instance has a very useful corporation tax policy that has been of massive benefit to them over recent years, but everyone in Ireland knows the EU will not tolerate it for much longer, and it will be removed despite the damage it causes to the Irish economy. My view is that membership of the EU takes decision making and accountability further away from the people, for all the faults of British democracy I would prefer to see those decisions (and the people enacting them) that affect people's lives, being brought as close to the people as possible.
Why what ?? I Always go trick or treating it's becoming more American every year, the kids love it, you're probably right but it does give me something to look forward too.
If you have nothing to gain why would you vote to leave it just dumbfounds me, I listened to one Brexiteer on LBC the James O'Brien show and he was quite happy to lose his job as long as we left E.U. I am not saying this man is stupid but there is a line were to stop, losing a job can accumulate to a lot of things like losing your house and family I have had 1st hand experience in this when I lost my job as a coal miner it took me 2 years to find a job I very nearly lost my house and ended up bankrupt which was not very nice. The thing that most annoys me is when politicians and the Brexit press come out with such bullshyte as bent bananas they are going to turn the water off, this new one kippers and the worst one of all that money rote on the side of a bus going to go the NHS and people believe such things.
I'm surprised you should be dumbfounded that anyone could vote for political principles without consideration of personal gain.
