    Drugs test fail is easy to do these days if you’re not switched on.

    Some straight forward over-the-counter drugs contain stuff your not supposed to have. Can be quite innocent, but it’s naive if that’s the case.

    The club doctor is supposed to verify all drugs and medication prior to consumption, so there’s a breakdown somewhere if this is the case.

    Could all be a load of tosh too.

    I think the Tweet’s been taken down hasn’t it now?

    My post is not accusing anybody, other than saying even if a player has failed, too many folk come to the conclusion it’s dodgy dealings or deliberate.

    It’s a minefield these days in professional sport - hence why they’re usually told to run everything through the club doctor before administering anything. I believe some cough/chest medicines are also banned - easy to be innocently tripped up.

    Like i Said before, could be a load of tosh too.
