My bet is that they will be in Championship next season as the EFL are so slow acting despite having the knowledge and evidence from months ago. I tip a 6 points penalty, reduced on appeal (they can appeal any punishment but not the actual 'crime'). Reduction might be 6 to 3 points or even to a fine. So they will have an entire season to overcome a small penalty and the EFL, as with Wednesday, give them the best chance possible to stay in the division.
