It's like owt else I suppose, whatever you make it. We had all-inclusive so I could just go and get a pint whenever I liked (which was far too often), and the food on an evening was decent. Waking up in a different place each morning was unique. I'd use the bathroom and head out at about 7am for my morning stroll along the deck, and take in the amazing scenery. Then we'd be off galavanting wherever it docked. Which might be something that isn't for everyone. Because, naturally, you've to make sure you're back on the ship before it sets off again. So you are time-limited. But that's the beauty of it I guess.

Half of the nights we'd go and enjoy whatever entertainment they'd put on. And the singers were all incredible, we had a comedian one night. It wasn't like it was my favourite musician, nor was the funny man Stewart Lee. But it was solid stuff. Not the sort of 'imagined' or preconceived stuff you probably fear.

Sometimes, when I feel down, I look back at the photos from that trip, and the many videos we took and it instantly cheers me up. We had an amazing time.

My only small complaint would be the getting there, and getting onboard. It all seemed a bit of a faff. But I'm being picky there.
