Thinking about it I wonder if Hearts are doing it by email so they have a paper trail?

He's hardly spilled the beans here though as he? He's just said if Hearts wanted to solve this quickly why haven't they picked up the phone? Not really a stunning insight.

Well, over the last few days I've leant that he's still employed by the club, that we're still paying him. I found that to be quite a revelation.

I know nothing about employment law and even if I did I know nothing about this particular case. It all seems odd, but that's probably because I don't understand it.

However, I can't see how there even is an argument against the accusation that Barnsley fans have been given a wall of silence but Conway seems happy enough to blab to anyone else who asks him about it.

I’d always been taught that the safest thing to do was to say very little and keep what you did say as fact. That way the dismissed party cant come back to you with any sort if challenge in what you’d said. I know it looks like contempt for us fans but they are all about protecting their profits and by saying very little they’re not exposing themselves to any claims.

ok....thats fine but, we, the stakeholders of THEIR business (in our club), will be relied upon in the coming months to shell out for season tickets. Im not sure what your expectations are but imho, they need to be far more explicit in how the deal with the lifeblood (and major payees) of Bfc. I think this board are using our club and the fans to further their own finances, if you are happy wirh that ....fine.
I am not...i dont trust them, i dont like the way they go anout what they do and i just cant see any plan other than themselves.
Some fans are happy just to have a club and not be Bury or Bolton (god i hate the mis use of that!), i am not. As a paying fan and for alleged succesful business men, i expect more from them, much more. Being more explicit with the fan base (or paying clients)would be a start.

theres so much we dont know about Daniel's departure. hopefully the facts will come out one day. if and when they do then at that time we can make a considered judgement.
the club has been pilloried incessantly and yet we dont know what the circumstances are re his departure.
I've said before I find it curious that both chris stern and dale tongue have been released with our good wishes and thanks yet DS wasn't.
the "seperation" does point to something having gone horribly wrong and it might not be the club's fault. it might be.
we just dont know, and that's why I think the bile and venom which is being hurled at the club is without doubt condemning them without a fair "trial".
I've dealt with many situations like this at work and sometimes its in the organisations best interests to say **** all.

Yea...you correct of course but this board have not helped themselves one bit and can only blame themselves for alienating their way from the fans and our thoughts.

Personally I think it went wrong in the summer when Daniel realised that, despite being in a higher league, the club were going to intentionally weaken the team. He must have been close to jacking it in then. Despite the Fulham result, it soon became clear that we were in trouble on the pitch. I don't know what finally happened at the end, but I don't blame Daniel at all. We all have a fuse, and when it blows, that's it. I blame the owners/board for that, and the ensuing silence, now shown to have been unnecessary, made it worse.

People say let it go, get behind the club. Well I'm sorry but I can't imagine ever getting behind these people at all. Their actions have been, for me, beneath comtempt. Even if they did finally come out and communicate with us in the near future, it's too late for me and I wouldn't believe them.

However, I wish Gerhard Struber and his squad the very best and I'll continue to support them for at least the rest of this season. Good luck to Daniel, Chris and Tongie too.

The club were right to get rid of Dale Tonge and should have done sooner.

He said last Friday, that he had been offered an alternative job at Barnsley, but had rejected it, so it
appears on the face of it, he's left by choice. He must have been aware of the possibilities
of joining DS at Hearts, because he went on to say " hopefully I will be back in football with
    a new Club very soon."

Radio Sheffield HAVE pestered him for comment and he has refused. That is something they stated quite clearly on football heaven.
Supporters have pestered him for comment and he has refused.

If he can't comment for legal reasons to anyone in Barnsley then why can he suddenly comment to fans of hearts just because they pestered him? It's utter ******** and indefensible[/QUOTE]
Where has he told Hearts fans why Stendel was relieved of his duties , he hasn’t . Hearts were giving us some stick for holding a deal with Stendel up , Conways just said it’s not our fault pick the phone up and sort it out as Stendel is still under contract with us
