Ah, beg your pardon. I think the same applies to Cauley, maybe even moreso given he only has 12 months on his contract and in his mid to late 20's.
I think with Woodrow, the question will be what figure would make it worthwhile for the club to sell, given any sell on fee to Fulham, which seemingly already put Cardiff off before he signed his extension. I'm in two minds about what offers Collins will get. Not sure how many fees are paid for goalkeepers that have just been relegated. Won't be short of offers for Helik, Andersen and Morris
I think the key consideration with Cauley is the scale of his wages (I suspect he's our biggest earner given he signed a contract extension when he did) and losing them from the accounts would be a huge assist to getting our affairs resolved to our likely new found level. I'd love him to stay, obviously, but I suspect for his own career and the good of our finances, we need to find someone to take him.
Sheffield utd did alright out of Ramsdale at the end of last season when they dropped & he went to Arsenal
Good shout that, one thing is that if he moves it will be to a team higher up the food chain than us ,although according to some on here he is not championship class , we shall see , I would love him & Morris to be here next season as I think we would have the best pair of strikers in division one but I know that is highly unlikely .
Won’t see him in a Barnsley shirt again. Will have tonnes of suitors will the lad and thoroughly deserved.
Brad is our number one, but I think Jack is a more than capable back up. I don't think this is as much of a loss as say Helik or Morris (earlier in the season).
Agree with that. Really rate Walton and as much as Collins would get into a good 20 teams in this league, we have a very good second choice keeper who will be a fantastic number one next year in League 1.
Totally agree, I think he needs and deserves a move and anything around the million mark would be a good deal for us too considering his wages and reduced impact on the team. Hopefully him going might help us to keep Morris too.
