Speaking of coach drivers and ex managers, I was told on Saturday night that Big Mick had the Ipswich team coach stop at the Kingfisher chippy at Durkar on their way home from dirty Leeds.

    One of his favourites apparently

Guy has excellent taste as that's my number one anywhere. Find places like Harry Ramsdens or Compos in Holmfirth abit overated due to their names. Brilliant place that. Sit down meal fish chips mushy peas and pot of tea for around eight quid bargain. Can even add a dessert for a quid.

A few years back I went to the Kingfisher and he was there with the whole Wolves squad travelling back from Sunderland. Now that was an order... and a wait!

Exactly, bit weird when you consider some of his old teams did and still do basically train in public parks.

Flitcroft was quoted in the chronicle saying the barnsley players should be eating in the finest restaurants and staying in high end hotels: bless 'em.

Apparently on the coach Hecky is like Mrs Doyle... makes huge plates of sandwiches for the players and stands over them with cups of tea. I've heard he even washes under their armpits for them in the showers !
    Ah go on ...

Could be any number or reasons. In your tight knit group you might want to openly speak whenever you want about family issues, illness, injuries, the list goes on and on. If an outsider you see a few hours a week is around you aren't going to trust them to keep what they hear private as much as those you see daily.

Do they speak though? With their silly big headphones on and fingers stuck to their iphones.
