And we got rid of large parts of our primary and secondary industries to concentrate on services, which the government and particularly the Leave parties are ignoring over trying to get great trade deals for fishing. After all, only 80% of jobs and GDP are in services now...

I've used the front page to wipe up some cat shi-ite from my garden. I only buy it for the news on BFC, and the other local non league teams. However, I have to draw a line - I can't buy it again after this. I know it is already struggling financially - a fact I was sorry about, but not any more.

The only thing the Brexit party has in common with working class people is a dislike of immigrants - it is as clear as anything. People have the right to support whoever they want, but at least be honest about why .

If those "old mates" are now loudly shouting for Brexit, reducing immigration, and (generally on facebook) going down the far right rabbit hole, would Labour actually want them back? - as they are now opposed to many of the things that Labour stand for.

Labour needs to fold and start again as a new party. It’s the only way we’ll get these satanic ******** out of number 10

    I’m always s
im always suspicious when someone shouts” lots of my mates”
I know a couple of my mates who voted Brexit but won’t be voting Tory or Brexit .
Maybe because one of them was beat up and arrested at Orgreave by the Tory’s boot boys in Blue and couldn’t stomach the thought of backing that bag of S h ite

When is a front page a front page? When it's at the front! Bearing that in mind it is therefore a front page. To my way of thinking it gives the advert more credence being presented as it is. Of course that is what the Brexit Party will want but even so the Chronicle should not have given said party the 'rights' to the front.
Desire for money is not a good enough excuse...if I was a paedophile and offered them 5 million to print a story extolling my paedophiliac virtues I think they'd turn it down. They could have allowed a big advert inside but no...
    Not good enough for me

It’s real isn’t it ? some people who post on here genuinely think ‘folk out there’ are thick .
It’s common these days for local papers ( and some others) to have an outer cover but I would suggest that pretty much everybody realises that the actual front page is the one with the proper editorial on it!The outer bit will just be discarded by the majority.
It’s the same mentality from those who think people that don’t believe in Corbyn have been ‘ brainwashed by the media.
The majority of the general public are perfectly capable of sorting through stuff and making their own mind up

Call me a pedant if you like but if your ex father in law is now in his 70s he would not have been able to vote when he was 18. The lowering of the franchise to include 18 year olds was not introduced until 1970 when I voted at John St. school Wombwell on 18 June 1970.

Well I was fortunate enough not to have had to work down the pit, so I wouldn’t wish it on anyone else. I do know loads of ex-miners though who greatly miss the camaraderie and sense of self-worth they had. Not to mention the income. Jobs in an Amazon warehouse or call centre don’t measure up I guess.

    Nothing to be suspicious about.
Remember Red Kestrel? Well he said something similar so i sent him names to have a look at. He actually knew some of them so he ended up looking a bit of a ****
I'm a centrist socialist, a remainer and a nhs nurse so no, nothing suspicious here.

I believe she also had another agenda. In order to get her privatisation agenda through she knew she had to break the unions (especially after she saw them bring down the Heath govt.)
She had prepared for a long time ahead of the strike as she knew that if she could break the NUM & the Steel workers the rest would be easy.
