Anderson and Collins only 2 for me at the minute.
J Williams is a good player and developed a hell of alot while here but very injury prone and look at the pen given away at the weekend kitching takes the blame but Williams should have dealt with that and cleared it properly in the build up.

I obviously respect your opinion mate but im baffled some people just can't see how good and how vital Collins is for us. We're incredibly lucky to have him. I did think at one point Walton was better shot stopper but not anymore after some awful appearances last few times, including even being dropped for Searle at one point. Hes nowhere near as commanding or confident as Collins in the area, and Collins outshines him completely as a sweeper keeper.

Not sure how the Walton v Collins and who's better is still getting debated... only one winner IMO. And I don't think Walton is a bad keeper.

I think we're very lucky to have 2 very good keepers, not many clubs do at our level. But as you say, there's only one winner

Not really, you need to be an attacking team to get promotion, but you need to be a defending team to avoid relegatio. I think we could defend enough to avoid relegation, (not sure if we're good enough to get promoted).

    Collins played 40 games 2020-2021
    Walton played 6

Everyone keeps harping on about collins who flaps at crosses luckily not conceded after dropping a few. Not in the same league as a shotstopper. 5 shots on target against us in a 5 game period. 5 goals conceded. I'll concede better at coming out of his area. But he also dropped a couple of clangers doing that.
It's just an opinion ladies and gents. As for Walton being awful we can all quote bad games. But Bolton away and Crewe at home. As bad as crewe were he still had to produce 2 worldies. Excellent.
Practically Kept us up on his own 2019/20 making umpteen excellent vital saves. After yon pillock struhber kept picking his mate. And thought I'll try this Walton lad late on in the season. And going with Styles instead of his other mate.
    (Ritzmair and Radlinger.)
Who knows, maybe we'd have stayed up last year if Walton had have been first choice. :)
As for Championship quality I'd still look for another No.1. Over both of em. In the mould of Luke Steele or to a lesser degree Adam Davies who was more prone to the odd c0ck up. Both better all round goalies.
As for the rest of the Players at this mo. Mads but all the others are on wait and see a little longer how they progress in the next umpteen games b4 I can give an honest opinion. I've still to recognise half the buggers lol.

He wasn't dropped mate. He wasn't risked on the bench because of an underlying injury. If you're talking about Cambridge and subsequently for the Newcastle game due to Brad's injury. Duff didn't want to risk him. His words not mine. Played against Charlton at home next game. Won 3-1.
    Hardly dropped I'd say.

Had a right barny wi him int pub. Did he go.? did he ****. And I let him know what I thought shall we say.
