With games coming thick and fast to the end of the season it's great being in a position where we can rotate if needed. Fitness levels need to be high for playing the game we play even more so with the pudding of a pitch at the moment (no blame to the groundstaff, circumstances dictated what happened to it), so all credit to everyone both in management and playing side for buying into it so well so far
We'll be rotating players for all games left this season. Thing is we've got the strength in depth now so as to not let the level drop at all. I'm so impressed with the progress made by everyone this season. It's been brilliant to watch
Morris was excellent. Not to detract from his performance, the keeper was at fault for his goal in my view. Morris didn’t hit it that hard. The keeper was either unsighted or thought it was going wide. https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid.../championship/12221319/barnsley-2-1-blackburn
Just wait for a team that’s been overwhelmed by us to claim that the use of our rotating frontline is “anti-football”
Now that we can see the worth of Carlton M shouldn`t there be a reprise of the welcome sketch that was done by the lads? (i`m not clever enough to do it!)
And he used the defender to screen it, the keeper sees it late, thinks it's going wide, then it curls in. Great finish. Also excellent feet to send Mowatt away for the second.
Morris looks a cracking signing. If reports are true that we paid £300k for him then that is one astute bit of business.....
