Agree, it seems like we’re stepping up and looking to speculate to accumulate if we do make this signing. Never did I think we would sign a player and loan him straight back. That’s quite a change of philosophy and looks at longer term thinking. Really positive in my eyes.

From reading Bury fans opinion he sounds like a hell of a talent. Stepped into their first team at 16 (like Victor did at Leyton O) and helped keep them up. Sounds like he would be an automatic starter this year, so perhaps no clauses needed, but another 6 months at L2 level with the real misters and it should help his progress more than a few cameos off the bench/U23s here.

 

When does Moncur contract expire?

 

Next summer I think. Unless we have an option of a 4th year. Seems unlikely he’ll sign a new deal as don’t think he’s ever fully settled here.

 

Only stayed 2 week originally, could be trying to offload him in Jan maybees unless he comes good and shows us some of that talent he keeps hiding.

I think our club know what they are doing, really encouraging signing for the near future.

 

Been linked to Manchester clubs and Liverpool in last two years. Sounds a talent.
