    Not to mention the small and medium sized haulage companies that will no longer be able to transport goods into the EU, People like myself (non brexit supporting!) who rely on providing services to EU companies. The American company I work for employs people in the UK to cover the whole EU, but after brexit it will be far easier to employ EU workers instead. The people in other manufacturing sectors like cars aircraft parts etc who rely on frictionless borders - companies like Airbus and Ford BMW/Mini etc will be unlikely to invest in the UK going forwards and move the work done in the UK onto the continent, etc etc. In fact I struggle to see who wins from this whole catastrophe and I havent even mentioned the financial sector which though its not particularly liked does contribute sizeably to the UK economy and that will shrink significantly

    Already shrinking by stealth. I've found it very surprising numerous "redundancies" in law, financial services and some tech just haven't hit the media in any way shape or form.

    We seem to hear a lot of the retail job losses, and BT was touched on a little, but just about every bank has shed staff in the last year and nly a few have hit the news.

    It's already grim, but it's going to be absolute carnage. Just locking in my mortgage into a 10 year fix, getting the extension done while credit still flows and battening down the hatches! Maybe by 2028 some sanity may have returned.

    In my service sector (IT), I will be more employable if I (or my parents) was born in the EU and working in the UK, than if I was born in the UK and working in the UK.

    Same for me - or an Irish passport would be great. Nearly punched one of my mates when he voted for Brexit and then afterwards mentioned as had an irish granmother he can get an Irish passport if he needs it
