[BFC SITE] Humphrys: I feel a lot more free to express myself

Waited until 5 games to go to put some effort in to get a contract.

 

Yeah its good to have players like that who can run at defenders, and cause loads of problems, and score some goals.
But, I agree its extremely disappointing when he and various others, only perform occasionally when they feel like it. When it suits them etc.
So what do we do with him ?.

 

Much as his lack of effort has annoyed me I’d still be tempted to trigger the extra year on his contract. Played on the left of a front 3 or of a 3 behind a lone striker he’d be a threat.
Think he’ll leave though due to the wage he’ll currently be on.
