I really hope that we get off to a good start next season so that we hopefully don't have to listen to much more of the waffle and deflection.

 

I just hope there were none of this seasons players on the wall. That would be some deep clean.

 

Don't know about hanging from the wall, quite a few want throwing against the wall, whilst a few more , no names mentioned, need putting in the wall bottom lol

 

Hopefully the fact neither Farrugia or Gent were seen as specialist wing backs prior to joining us will enable them to flourish in new formations

 

I bet Conor is thrilled at the thought of those 2 being our fast exciting wingers next season.
He will have to talk about the state of the floodlights to deflect from results.

 

I hope that comment was added in by our media department about their own quality of work. As said by Jay, if you're going to give the responses to questions, write out the questions. They have put a full stop after vs. Off season doesn't need to be one word. The lay out is all over the place.

 

This about the pressing style, which they seem to be wanting to go with again, next time.
Do the majority of us fans want to see this, which they are claiming ?.
Entertaining and exciting and attacking football, doesn't just have to be about pressing does it.

 

Once again he's saying some interesting things there, which makes me want to take notice of.
Especially about the budget, where he says he's putting his foot down, and presumably asking for more to spend.
And that about feeling disappointed and expecting better from some 'un-named' players etc. Yeah I hope so!.

I think thats easier said than done though, and it didn't seem to earn Collins & Clarke much respect I'm afraid.

 

The off the field involvment reminds me of Flitcroft.

Can't see either of those 2 being defensively strong enough to be full backs, I hope we aren't starting out with this mend and make do outlook again.
Sign some proper full backs and wingers/ forwards.

 

Neither were full backs either. It seems Sormaz ‘thing’ has been about signing players who can play in multiple positions instead of a specialism.
I agree hopefully we go back to signing ‘proper’ players instead of Jack of all trades.

 

Problem is that we have to offload so many of these players that we’ve signed on long deals. Nigh on impossible.
Though I think there might be hope for Gent as a LB. Just getting Farrugia fit would be a start. Not really sure what he is to be fair.
