Can’t comment on Iseka but it’s a well known fact we tried to sign Oulare last Jan, Conway was nowhere on the scene then as we had Dane still here.
That’s suggests the spreadsheet did identify him

 

Weve identified players before from outside the spreadsheet. Ritzmaier,kransmuller,bahre,sol the fact radio sheffield said he was from outside the usuall recruitment and the ITK poster who posted on here combined with his career stats and age suggests he didnt ping up on the spreadsheet.

 

Why would Conway be involved in signing players it makes no sense at all.As for believing I'm quite sure James had versed him on how players are identified.So I know who I believe but each to there own.

I know we have in the past not disputing that and if I recall correctly most if not all, were at request of the manager, just saying we tried to sign him last Jan and personally doubt he was just Conway wanting him.
As for his age and stats?
Almost same age as Morris, returning from a lengthy injury but previously played at a higher level.
We also signed him in Jan last year was he a Conway choice too?

 

I stand corrected but when we signed Styles we immediately loaned him back to Bury to get league experience , he might have been signed at sixteen but hasn"t actually been with us since then .

 

when the manager says he doesn't know what positions the club is wanting players in, if any, and doesn't know if we're signing anyone or if frieser is to be replaced then I'd say that does t fit the narrative of the manager selecting a position and going to the board with it who then narrows down a list for him

 

Paul Conway was the CEO between Dane Murphy leaving and Khaled El-Ahmad taking up his position. If he wasn't involved in signing players during the summer, if, as you have claimed, it makes no sense, what does make sense to you and who do you believe was negotiating our summer transfers?

 

I always thought conway and james cryne worked on recruitment previously or maybe that has now broken down im not sure with whats gone on behind the scenes?

I know who i belive and its radio sheffield. Not that it really matters no matter what your using to sign players its always a gamble and your always going to sign a few duds oulare needs binning off asap

 

I dont know im just going off what radio sheffield said in regards iseka and oulare. And seems to add up.

 

Exactly I don't know any club with a 100% record when it comes to signings.As for belief you've got your view and I've got mine and there's nothing wrong with that.

 

Oulare actually said in his presser that that he was wanted in January but it wasn't right for him at that time.
I'm more concerned with the medical side of things and how he passed his medical.
As for radio Sheffields version it doesn't add up with Vals statement about the recruitment staff offering him 2 strikers in January and him saying he was happy with either.We know Dike was one and Oulare himself confirmed he was the other.

 

How is throwing the U23s in at the deep end going to help? One thing we do know is that if players are going to develop they need experience around them, like Sol was for Mads.

 

I thought dike signing was down to dane who suggested him?

 

Jay I never said Conway wasn't involved in the deals,he was the acting CEO.What I said was Conway as CEO got the deals over the line,he didn't select the signings thats not his role.

Correct, Melissa did an interview with Dike(coming from same place) and she talked about how Dane went to same college and connections made him aware of his potential

 

That's not very nice. BMW Is much better looking. And not to my knowledge, known for taking drugs.
