Funny how we all see the game differently.

I thought Kane was awful in possession. He worked very hard and was disciplined out of possession so I wouldn’t say he had a really bad game, but I lost count of the poor misplaced passes, of him holding on to the ball too long, the number of times he did his little Cruyff turn when the world and his dog could see he was going to do it, and I was also frustrated with him a few times after he’d thrown himself down for a free kick and took six months to get up after a few gesticulations to the ref. One or two might have been fouls but they weren’t given. Get up and get on with it man.

The aim of a forward is to score goals or to hold up the ball. Cole did neither of those things. Yes he made a contribution to the press though as you say Tedic did thus better. Cole has played as well as he can play this season so you can’t knock him. Neither does that mean he gets a free pass when he is below par. As a team we played very well and Cole contributed to that. As an individual he was disappointing over the 2 legs.

This sums him up well. For me Herbie when his passing is off it stays off but he still does the hard work. He definitely dives far too much.

The aim of a forward is to score Cole is our top scorer. He got a assist in the 1st leg from holding the ball up and laying it off to cadden.
You say tedic pressed better that's very debateable and the bloke sat next to me wanted tedic subbed alot sooner than he was. I don't like to single players out after a big win like that. We limited Bolton to nothing with that press Cole and kane were good without the ball on Friday if you think not you probably watched a different game to me.
And there's a reason duffs played Cole so many times this season before tedic but a lad on the bbs knows better.

Basically echoed my points on Kane, mate. Thought defensively he was decent and held the shape well. But on the ball and passing wasnt great at all
