Just teasing out a bit of banter... Obviously historically it's always been male presenters and pundits... I don't have a problem with the idea of involving women but there seems an imbalance driven by 'equality' overriding other factors.

You need to take a long look at yourself.

    Seriously.

Ask yourself, why do I do this?

    Why?
It can be boring on here.
I saw something on TV, posted an opinion and raised a discussion.
    What's the big deal?

You're an attention seeker that cannot cope with the attention it brings.

    Eventually that will harm you.

Not really, I just enjoy debate.

    Is that a threat?

But you paint yourself to be deliberately obtuse, to make people hate you.

    Eventually that will harm you.

No, I'm not threatening you, the harm will come from someone taking your comments the wrong way or from psychological harm from yourself.

Noted. Perhaps I should proof read prior to posting.
I have no intention of offending anyone nor do I seek attention.

Nah! They might well be but the most likely reason, given BBC's somewhat suspect adherence to equal pay, is they can pay them less;)

After reading the entire thread again I think the OP should be cut some slack. The 'mens things' comment WAS possibly sexist if it wasn't tongue in cheek so no slack there for me. However, the main thrust of the post though was a moan about political correctness which is different to arguing that women by their nature are incapable of being footy pundits. These are two different issues but weren't explained clearly imo.

100% right and of course it was tongue in cheek.
