We have recruited several for the academy. Kozluk is at a stage where he is now playing against men at a level that will hopefully pull him through. He played there last season for a period. We have given him a new contract. Unlike many others that have been released. I trust the academy coaches and Bobby to plot their next stages. At their stage of development you quote non league clubs. They are touted by other clubs. I'd rather they get possible game time there and can still train and play, like our full time pros. I also believe (but YT might put me right). They can still play for the academy if not getting game time. ? As with all academies it will be x number in x number released or out on loan. Then you have the more mature players that go to teams just below us or national league. We even have players out on loan in the same division. (As we have one in) To gain more experience. Or in watters case reduce the wage Bill. Do you really believe Kozluk is ready to be thrown in to our team. And I don't mean sat in the dug-out with next to no chance of coming on.
