I'm glad to see John Hendrie popping up latterly. He scored some magically important goals for us. Glavin was a smooth runner with the ball at his feet and never looked flustered. Redfearn was more physical in his approach and could score top corner goals from all distances. The one thing I will always remember about Redders was the number of times he'd wipe his sweaty face with his sleeve throughout the game. He was a grafter and literally sweated for Barnsley.
He was one of my favourite players, which is why I selected him. I know I'm repeating myself here, but the team I've selected is one of my favourite players, not the best. Anyway, Barnard was a left back, not a right back and it's my opinion Cooper was a better right back than Joyce.
Would be my RWB if I were to do an all time BFC 11. 3-5-2 formation Baker McCarthy Futcher De Zeeuw Eaden Glavin Redfearn Thomas Barnard Hignett Ward
John Curtis was a favourite of mine even though he wasn't ours. I liked Chris Barker too. They weren't as good as Eaden and Barnard though
Now that would be some team, with Hammil to come off the bench..... I assume the Thomas is Gwyn? An excellent midfield grafter he was.
