    No, that's where I would need to go to get a new Russian visa. My wife has to apply for her Schengen visa at the French Embassy in Moscow.

    Complex question, as the average St Petersburg or Moscow resident who speaks English and gets their news from the internet is very different to the provincial factory operative whose only source of information is state TV.
